[Medical student] Glabella tap reflex คือ การเคาะบริเวณหน้าผาก กล้ามเนื้อ orbicularis oculi จะหดตัวทำให้ตากระพริบ ....เกิดจาก reflex ผ่าน afferent sensory โดย trigerminal nerve และ efferent ผ่าน facial nerve กล้ามเนื้อ orbicularis oculi จะหดตัวทำให้ตากระพริบ .....ปกติจะหยุดกระพริบหลังจากเคาะซ้ำๆ 5 – 10 ครั้ง เนื่องจาก frontal lobe จะยับยั้ง reflex นี้ไว้ ถ้ากระพริบต่อเนื่องเรียกว่า Myerson sign หรือ Glabellar tap positive เดิมทีตั้งแต่ ปี ค.ศ. 1946 ใช้เป็น Sign’s ที่ช่วยในการวินิจฉัย Parkinson’s
