5月21日，凤凰网报道了“河南村镇银行”事件。报道称，2022年4月开始，河南村镇银行储户陆续出现无法取款的情况。事后查明，核心原因是河南新财富集团通过操控银行高管、虚构贷款合同、搭建账外系统等非法手段，大肆转移储户资金，掏空银行资产，这便是当年引起巨大风波的“河南村镇银行事件”。近日，有河南村镇银行一类卡储户反映，自2022年，村镇银行事件爆发后，他们正常的存款，一直无法取出，且被设置成了“只进不出”。像他这样的客户，还有几千人。事件爆发四年，河南村镇银行的银行卡也变成了废卡。采访中，凤凰周刊 也了解到更多鲜活但被撕裂的故事：退休职工王惠，卖掉老房子的200万元房款至今未能取出，置换新房计划泡汤，儿子婚事因此一拖再拖；绍兴纺织商人王兴国，2980万元工厂周转资金被强行冻结，只能在机器生锈、订单流失的空旷车间里硬扛；在上海经商的周明菊，为了讨回1000万元积蓄身陷囹圄。这些年，很多储户也想通过司法途径解决问题，但基本只面临两个结果：一种是，无论在何地起诉，案件最终都被移交到河南省禹州市人民法院处理，但有律师表示，该院要不就不立案，要不就是拖延。第二种结果则是，法院以该案涉刑为由，直接驳
