Station 2, Engine 7 and Car 641 (District 1 Chief Jason Gillkison) responded to a fire in a homeless encampment just before 11am. The encampment is just North of where Highway 75 & Southwest Blvd meet the river. It was difficult to access and alongside the railroad tracks, causing disruption to train movement. Crews stopped trains, accessed the fire with Station 2’s ATV and extinguished the fire. No one was at the encampment when crews arrived, so we are unsure if anyone was injured. #tulsahomel
