In my top three favorite places in NC… Bald Head Island. Accessible only by boat (you can take a ferry from Southport!) and everyone uses golf carts and bicycles to get around. It’s pretty magical. Where to stay: @palmettoplacebhi or one of many other airbnbs, @theinnatbaldheadisland Tip: pack some groceries because while there is a supermarket on the island, prices are pretty high!
