Mumbai's Dharavi is Asia's largest slum - 7 lakh people live in 2.1 sq kilometres. The working class migrants started settling in Dharavi since 1850. Post independence, Dharavi became a residential and industrial hub. There has been no significant upgrade since. Dharavi has faced sanitation problems, a struggle even during non-coronavirus times and limited private toilets. The Maharashtra government has claimed that they have identified high-risk zones - they said that they have doorstep service
