Florida Grown Pineapples 🍍 Pineapples love growing in Florida’s sandy well draining soil. Mulch heavy around them to feed them and to make it harder for the weeds to grow. If you live an apartment, pineapples grow very well in pots. The variety of Pineapple in our video is called Sugarloaf. Around the stem and base of the pineapple plant you will start to see “pups” (baby pineapples) that you can break off and plant to grow more pineapples.
