Multi-layer filling of vegetable beds (10 layers). We decided to fill our new vegetable beds not the way everyone else does, but to make them multi-layered. The first layer is cubes of our lawn, I specially cut it up and placed it under the fence when I was expanding the area for new vegetable beds. The second layer is soil from our old vegetable beds. The third layer, dry lawn grass, the neighbors brought me a lot of it. The fourth layer is the remains of wooden boxes from our old vegetable bed
