Back when Kent and I made our usual stop at Punaluʻu Bake Shop, we were just after taro and guava sweet bread and malasadas—but somehow it always turned into a full-blown comedy. 🍞🐢 The Black Sand Beach was right across the road, the Honu were sunbathing like celebrities, and Kent was trying to eat without dropping powdered sugar everywhere.
