Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Arlington, other North Texas cities.

As part of nationwide protests against Trump administration policies, Texans hit the streets in at least sixty cities.

Organizers of the “No Kings” demonstrations said millions had marched in hundreds of events. In Oregon, tens of thousands of people gathered in downtown Portland for two large protests -- one that began in Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the other at the Oregon Convention Center.

The Houston demonstration is one of several planned in the region throughout the day and is expected to draw thousands of protesters.

Saturday marks the first full day of Marines on duty in Los Angeles, one week after protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids ignited in LA and spread to other cities across the U.S.,

Troops have already been deployed to Los Angeles and San Antonio. Nationwide protests are planned for Saturday.
