Netflix viewers have all been saying the same thing about Happy Gilmore 2 after spotting references to a golf star's legal troubles.

Justin Thomas recently shared a BTS highlight from the Happy Gilmore 2 set after the movie released on Netflix.

The mid-credits scene, then, tells a bit about what happened to Manatee ( Benny Safdie) and the fallout with Maxi Golf. It starts with a news broadcast — Sports Hole With Pat Daniels — telling viewers that "the bad news just keeps coming" for Maxi and its founder.

“Happy Gilmore 2,” the newly released Netflix sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 golf comedy, is a lot like its star: A little bit flabbier, a little bit shabbier, but still undeniably funny after all these years.

Considering past misbegotten sequels to Adam Sandler movies like Grown Ups 2 and Murder Mystery 2, I am not quite sure why it took the star three long decades to fire up one for arguably his best comedy and most memorable character,
