After a tough weekend in the City of Brotherly Love, the Tigers saw a little bit of an offensive outburst in their return home on Monday night. Though the team fell behind early, Detroit rallied with six runs in the middle portion of the game, including a three-run sixth inning, to grab a 6-3 victory.

After a quick trip to Philadelphia, the Detroit Tigers are heading back home. The Tigers dropped two of three games in a hotly-contested series against the first-place Phillies over the weekend, but have looked stronger overall since losing eight of their first nine games after the All-Star Break.

Sánchez dazzled again, slicing and dicing the Tigers’ righty-heavy lineup with his sinker and signature changeup. He scattered five hits, struck out six batters, and lasted eight innings to lower his ERA to 2.40.
