SHREVEPORT, La. ( KTAL/KMSS) – The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles will open select field offices across the state to assist with REAL ID compliance. Residents are encouraged to book appointments for one of three available Saturdays when representatives will be in the office to assist as the compliance deadline approaches.

The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles is urging all residents to consider getting a REAL ID- compliant credential when renewing their license or identification card.
