NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office has formally charged all 10 inmates who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center in May, including Derrick Groves, who remains at large. Each inmate is now facing a charge of Simple Escape. Murrill said her office will be prosecuting these cases.

Attorney General Liz Murrill’s office on Monday (June 30) charged the 10 men who absconded from the Orleans Justice Center jail last month with simple escape. The 10 escapees were charged and will be prosecuted in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.
