Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a solid practice during Day 7 of training camp as he continues to battle with fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. A former Oregon Ducks quarterback, Gabriel was a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The veteran Joe Flacco is a known commodity for Cleveland. But without Pickett, rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders should get more reps in the week ahead. If one of the rookies can take advantage of the extra chances, they could make a run at the starting job that most weren't expecting them to get right out of the chute.
