Hail from 1.25 to 2.25 inches was reported in areas west of Dallas-Fort Worth, where the impact from the morning storms was felt the most.
Several rounds of rain could very well bring a flood concern. DFW and surrounding areas could pick up over 2-3 inches of rain. Storms are still likely into Saturday early afternoon but the severe threat will be lower. We look dry by the end of the weekend.

FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth on MSNDallas Weather: More rain and hail chances in the forecastAccording to the FOX 4 Weather Team, the forecast called for up to egg-sized hail and 60 mph winds. That all stayed west of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. As the severe weather hit North Texas, many flights to both DFW Airport and Love Field Airport were canceled or delayed.
At 12:39 a.m. on Sunday, the NWS Fort Worth TX issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 12:45 a.m. for Dallas and Kaufman counties.
DALLAS — Saturday night through Sunday morning and again late Sunday afternoon through evening have been declared WFAA Weather Alert Days by the WFAA Weather Team .

Evening temperatures will drop into the 40s, with light rain possible north and west of Dallas. Sunday morning will feel brisk, with temperatures in the 40s and wind chills in the 30s.
Rain chances continue into Friday and Saturday morning. While not every day will be a washout, the likelihood of heavier rain will go up by the end of the week. Rain totals could range from 2 to 5 inches in some locations once this is all said and done.
