All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell re-signed with the Indiana Fever Wednesday, continuing the backcourt pairing with WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark. Clark was overjoyed with the news, greeting Mitchell in grand fashion as she entered Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Two-time All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell opted to reunite with Clark by re-upping with the franchise that drafted her No. 2 overall in 2018.

Mitchell announced that she was re-signing with the Fever on Wednesday. The entire team was thrilled with the news — including Clark. She and a group of employees from Pacers Sports & Entertainment lined up to greet Mitchell at the airport and congratulate her on her new deal.

The Indiana Fever guard made headlines when she joined the pop star in one of Arrowhead Stadium's luxury suites during a playoff game earlier this month.
