More than 400 cyclists will be traversing South Carolina this weekend as part of a three-day cycling challenge to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

A former city councillor has died. Lynda Prior, who represented Ward 6 from 1997 to 1998, died at home on Thursday, following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
