Federica Brignone has all but locked up the women’s overall World Cup title by winning a super-G. The win gives the Italian a near-insurmountable lead in the season standings.

Switzerland's Marco Odermatt won his third successive Alpine skiing Super-G World Cup crystal globe, and moved closer to a fourth overall title in a row, in a shortened race won by Italy's Dominik Paris on Sunday.

The 34-year-old Olympian won the women's super-G competition with a time of 57.95, defeating fellow Italian Sofia Goggia by .01 seconds.

Italian skier Federica Brignone won the super-G in La Thuile on Friday and effectively wrapped up her second overall World Cup title. She won her dramatic home race by just one hundredth of a second from team-mate Sofia Goggia.
