The Raiders pulled a trade on Friday with the NFC West team, acquiring Geno Smith for a third-round pick in this year's draft. Carroll and Smith were together in Seattle for four seasons. The QB position with the Raiders has been unstable since the Derek Carr Era Carr was the starter for Vegas in all but two games from 2014 until late in the 2022 season when he was benched.
