As millions of Americans hunker down for the winter storm, 19 states and Washington, D.C., have declared states of emergency.

With the continuous winter weather, the city of Jamestown’s Public Works department has had a lot of work to do to keep up with the snow. Recently, the weather allowed them to be able to get out their snowblower sidewalk plow.

There is a chance of snow flurries overnight starting at 1 a.m., says the NWS. Columbus could see 1-2 inches Friday.

On the heels of Winter Storm Fern, a strong bomb cyclone is traveling up the East Coast, bringing big impacts and making for dangerous travel conditions..

At least 3-7 inches of snow could fall across the area with winds gusting up to 35 miles per hour, making for poor visibility.
