A Tornado Warning has been issued for parts of Yuba and Nevada counties as significant weather moves through the region on Tuesday.

People in the warning areas are urged to seek shelter inside a sturdy building and stay away from windows until the threat is over.

On Monday at 6:12 p.m. the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 6:45 p.m. for Berks County.

EDT the National Weather Service issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 7:45 p.m. EDT for Midland County.

An enhanced risk for severe weather remains in the forecast for a larger part of Alabama tonight. It will last through the overnight hours and into the day on Monday. The National Weather Service is most concerned with the threat for damaging winds,

Showers and storms will move through Virginia this evening, coming to and end in most areas before midnight. A few storms could produce damaging wind gusts.

Wake-Up Weather: conditional threat for severe weather tonight

High temps Wednesday will climb to near 70. All severe weather hazards are on the table, including damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes and heavy downpours. A powerhouse jet stream is predicted to be in place Wednesday afternoon.
