On Friday, former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz announced that he has endorsed Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg to be vice chair of the DNC.

Martin is one of several candidates seeking to replace current DNC current chairman Jamie Harrison, of South Carolina, who is not seeking re-election.
