George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston has issued a ground delay through 11 p.m. due to anticipated severe thunderstorms, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The delay follows the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center placed much of Southeast Texas under an enhanced risk of severe weather and issued storm and tornado warnings on Friday.

Storms containing large hail, damaging winds and even an isolated tornado will be possible with the threats lasting into the evening.
