A 13-year-old boy from Wichita is fighting for his life after suffering a brain injury while playing in a local basketball tournament.

The Wichita Thunder fell 8-1 to Tahoe on Sunday, falling into a 2-0 hole in the opening round on the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Akron guard Nate Johnson announced his commitment to Kansas State on Sunday after 3 years with the Zips. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
