NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki recently opened up about the Dallas Mavericks trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. Like the rest of the sports world, Nowitzki was stunned that the Mavericks traded Doncic.

When Shams Charania of ESPN broke the news that the Dallas Mavericks were trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers early in February, no one initially believed him. After all, it made no sense for the Mavs to trade a Top-5 player for an oft-injured and aging big man in Anthony Davis.

"I was just really preparing for my flight to Bristol the next morning," Charania said. "About 11:05 [p.m.], I got tipped off that there's something going on with the Lakers and M
