Plumbers are in high demand on the heels of a freezing week. All the icy air can take a toll on the pipes in your home, which is something many of us have experienced first-hand. TV5’s Trae Harris spoke with the president of a local restoration company who shared what you can do to avoid draining your bank account.

The American Red Cross offered these suggestions if you find your pipes have frozen: If you turn on a faucet and only a trickle comes out, suspect a frozen pipe. Likely places for frozen pipes include against exterior walls or where your water service enters your home through the foundation.
