ATLANTA — Atlanta Braves' Matt Olson's Home Run Derby appearance came to a close after the first round Monday night. Olson hit 15 home runs, but failed to advance past the first round. This is his third All-Star appearance (second for the Braves). During the derby, Olson felt the admiration from the fans.

Olson is a two-time All-Star in his career. He made it with the Oakland Athletics in 2021 and once with the Braves in 2023. With the way the reserves are selected, even if Olson isn't selected Sunday, there is a solid chance he can get a nod.
