Lady Gaga's seventh studio album will be released in March, the Grammy winner announced on Monday, Jan. 27. The 14-track album is called 'Mayhem' and is set to take Gaga back to her pop roots.

The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” she said about the upcoming project.

Kicking things off with quite possibly one of the biggest albums we’ve all been patiently waiting for, Mayhem by Lady Gaga. The solo album debuts on March 7th and is the first solo album we have got from her in five years.

“People just sometimes don’t like some things,” Gaga said in her first public comments about reactions to the film, although she did not mention it by name. “It’s that simple. And I think to be an artist, you have to be willing for people to sometimes not like it. And you keep going, even if something didn’t connect in the way that you intended.”
