Co-creators Mike Judge, Greg Daniels, and showrunner Saladin Patterson posted a tribute to the late voice actor and King of the Hill star, who was shot and killed by a neighbor at his San Antonio home, on the show's official Instagram page.

“King of the Hill” fans are not happy with how the show’s creators paid tribute to Jonathan Joss following his shocking murder. Joss, who voiced John Redcorn on the Fox animated series, was tragically gunned down outside his home in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday, June 1.

It remains unclear what prompted the fatal shooting of Jonathan Joss. The Native American voice actor is best known for his work on “King of the Hill.”
