Former UFC fighter Jon Jones has sent a series of strange messages to Daniel Cormier as their rivalry heats up once again.
Eight years since UFC legends Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier last clashed inside the Octagon, their all-time rivalry remains as heated as ever. Tensions escalated after Jones announced his abrupt retirement from the UFC, to which Cormier responded by labeling Jones a ‘quitter’ and scolding him for not fighting Tom Aspinall.
Jon Jones has seemingly reignited his longstanding rivalry and grievances with Daniel Cormier, following Cormier's indirect comments that may have been aimed at him.
Cormier is not a fan of Jones (28-1 MMA, 22-1 UFC) trying to stay relevant in the headlines, comparing him to Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC), who also threw his name in the hat to fight at the White House. McGregor hasn't competed since July 2021.
Just last night, when a fan asked Jones about recent comments made by Cormier calling him a quitter, ‘Bones’ subtly fired back by replying: “Sometimes you gotta know when to quit, sometimes you gotta know when to let things go.
