Police said there wasn't enough probable cause to hold the man on suspicion of arson - after a small brush fire burned near the Griffith Observatory.

Los Angeles police arrested a man Monday on suspicion of arson after a small brush fire broke out in Griffith Park under the Observatory.

Griffith Park is home to such L.A. landmarks as Griffith Observatory, the Greek Theatre, the Los Angeles Zoo and the Hollywood Sign. It also contains the Travel Town Museum as well as a merry-go-round.
