A flash flood warning was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 4:29 p.m. in effect until 7:30 p.m. for Geneva and Houston counties.

Wayne County communities affected by the flood warning until 9:30 p.m. include Livonia, Romulus, Canton, Dearborn, Belleville, Westland, Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster and Wayne, according to the weather service.
