Central Florida will see another wave of intense heat on Friday. Feels like temperatures could reach as high as 110 degrees in some areas. With temperatures on the rise, a heat advisory has now been put into effect. That is why WESH 2's First Warning Weather team issued an Impact Weather alert from noon to 7 p.m.

A heat advisory is in effect for all Central Florida counties on Wednesday. The heat index is expected to soar to between 105 and 110 degrees. Residents across Central Florida should prepare for another sweltering day, with peak heat index values likely to reach dangerous levels.

Central Florida faces another searing day Sunday with the National Weather Service placing much of the region under another heat advisory, and conditions could worsen Monday.
