The Safeway/Alberstons workers' strike is quickly gaining momentum, as employees join together to fight against understaffing, insufficient wage increases, and inadequate health benefits.

Safeway employees across Colorado have been going on strike, one union after another. And Tuesday, the strikes reached Grand Junction.

Workers in Estes Park, Fountain, two in Pueblo, and a Safeway distribution center in Denver, walked out on Sunday and were joined by employees from Castle Rock and the Littleton location on Mineral Ave on Monday.
