Workers who witnessed the ICE raid outside a Los Angeles Home Depot say officers arbitrarily detained migrants. The sweep was one of several that sparked protests.

There were also reports of additional raids being carried out Friday in areas such as Pico-Union and Cypress Park. Angelica Salas of the Coalition of Humane Immigrant rights said

The FBI confirmed it’s participating in the HSI raids, not just in Los Angeles but nationwide, “as directed by the Attorney General.”
