Formula One's showcase Monaco Grand Prix will have two mandatory pitstops per driver to liven up the racing, the sport's governing body said on Wednesday.

Lewis Hamilton revealed that his repeated requests for the two-stop strategy at the iconic Monaco Grand Prix had been heard.

While Monaco has long stood as one of F1’s most famous and glamorous races, it has faced heavy criticism in recent years for the poor quality of racing and low number of overtakes on the track.
