The New England Patriots reportedly believe the perfect candidate to protect quarterback Drake Maye might be hitting free agency next week. Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl left tackle Ronnie Stanley is considered "the apple of their eye" if he hits free agency this offseason,
One rival NFL executive reportedly said the New England Patriots will "aggressively pursue" Ravens Pro Bowl left tackle Ronnie Stanley.
Before NFL free agency officially opened, the Baltimore Ravens re-signed Stanley, their two-time Pro Bowl left tackle, to a three-year, $60 million deal. Kansas City had reportedly been planning to target Stanley, per Nate Taylor of The Athletic, but they never got the chance.
ESPN reported the deal is for three years and $60 million. Stanley made the Pro Bowl last season, his ninth in both the NFL and with Baltimore.
