Saquon Barkley and the Eagles fell short of Luka Doncic and the Lakers for Transaction of the Year at the Sloan Analytics Conference.
The contract also includes an annual incentive package. Barkley gets $250,000 for 1,500 yards from scrimmage. It becomes $500,000 at 2,000 yards from scrimmage. For Pro Bowl or second-team All-Pro, he makes another $250,000. If he’s a first-team All-Pro, the number becomes $500,000.
The Eagles signed Barkley during the 2024 free agency period after his spent his first six years with the New York Giants. He’s found a home in the City of Brotherly Love, and the Eagles made sure the record-setting RB stays in Philadelphia for a while.
