Antioch High School in Tennessee was placed on lockdown as police investigated a shooting inside the school building, officials say.

ANTIOCH, Tenn. — Police in Tennessee are investigating a school shooting that officials said left one student and the gunman dead and two others injured. The shooting occurred Wednesday morning at Antioch High School, about 10 miles from Nashville, The Associated Press reported.

The suspected shooter who killed one student at a high school in Nashville on Tuesday has been identified as a 17-year-old male.

The airport was first established in 1937 as Berry Field, which was named after Col. Harry S. Berry, the Tennessee administrator for the Works Progress Administration under the New Deal. While it’s now just called Nashville International Airport, the airport code BNA is still used from its days as Berry Field.
