The Jacksonville Jaguars are holding onto former No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker for at least two more years. On Monday, the franchise announced that it had exercised the fifth-year option on the pass rusher's rookie contract.

That is because the Jacksonville Jaguars exercised the club option for the 2026 campaign on defensive end Travon Walker's contract on Monday.

Walker is entering the fourth year of his rookie contract, meaning the Jaguars have locked him in through the next two seasons at least. The fifth-year option is projected to be a fully guaranteed $14,751,000 for next season, The Florida Times-Union reported.
