It’s move-in day at the dorms of Saint Vincent College as members of the Pittsburgh Steelers arrive for their annual training camp. Before practice begins Thursday, TribLive writers are talking with players Wednesday morning as they begin their three-week ramp-up to the 2025 NFL season.

Following weeks of "will they or won't they" chatter, the Pittsburgh Steelers and pass-rusher T.J. Watt agreed to a three-year, $123M deal that included $108M guaranteed ahead of training camp.

The New York Jets have released former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Obinna Eze. Eze had spent the last two seasons with the Jets, but now will look to find another team. The Steelers signed Eze in 2023, and he joined the Jets shortly after his release from the team. Eze stayed on the Jets’ practice squad over the last two seasons.

He caught passes from the likes of Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph, Justin Fields and a 36-year-old Russell Wilson. It isn't a stretch to suggest he will be more productive with Prescott, especially since he is also playing alongside a game-changing wide receiver in CeeDee Lamb.
