There's one player that the Sixers are unwilling to move in any trade, even for Giannis Antetokounmpo: rookie VJ Edgecombe.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has not been quiet about his desire to leave Milwaukee, and could have his sights set on on Philadelphia for his next NBA home. According to The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer, Antetokounmpo is enamored with the idea of pairing with Sixers star Tyrese Maxey in Philly.

Giannis Antetokounmpo could be interested in the Philadelphia 76ers as a potential landing spot should he ultimately be traded by the Milwaukee Bucks, NBA insiders Marc Stein and Jake Fischer reported Thursday.

Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid saved the 76ers from another embarrassing loss. But for a while, the on-court action was secondary because of a report that Giannis Antetokounmpo wants to play with Maxey.

Joel Embiid would like to see the Sixers improve at the trade deadline, but also wants to keep the team’s core intact — and no cost-cutting moves.

The Milwaukee Bucks, like most teams that give away superstars, reportedly want young players and draft picks in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo, whom they are seemingly finally open to trading. The New York Knicks have neither young players nor draft picks.
