Tuscola Co. Sheriff's Office said van occupied by an Amish family was struck by a truck that ran a stop sign. Separately, a buggy was struck by vehicle in Montcalm Co.

A pickup truck has crashed into a van carrying members of an Amish group in rural Michigan, killing at least six people.

There were 5 children and 2 adults in the buggy. All five children were taken to the hospital in serious to critical condition. An adult female was also in critical condition.
