Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hammered the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and made amends from their heavy defeat at the hands of the Mumbai Indians (MI).

Venkatesh Iyer made a 25-ball half-century to propel defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders to a massive 80-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday in a rematch of last year’s Indian Premier League final.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered their much-needed second victory in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 80 runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday. Chasing a 201-run target, SRH were bundled out for just 120 runs in 16.4 overs.
