Guwahati: Terming the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit a "landmark for Assam," Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said that no state has witnessed such a massive investment summit except Gujarat. Sarma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing "everything possible" for Assam.

"I can assure you today that we will ensure the best working and congenial atmosphere for establishing industries in Assam. Please come and invest here," Sarma said, in the presence of heads of missions and ambassadors of over 60 nations,

Ranjit Kumar Dass, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development of Assam, on Wednesday said that the state has attracted investment of nearly Rs 2 lakh crores so far during the ongoing Advantage Assam 2.
