K-pop supergroup BTS members RM and V were discharged from the South Korean military on Tuesday, June 10, after mandatory service, as fans were counting down to the band's comeback with more members finishing their national duty later this month.
RM and V emerged from a base in South Korea on Wednesday in fatigues. Three other members of the hugely popular boy band will finish their national service this month.
Four members of the Korean boyband BTS have completed their mandatory military service, prompting an anticipated reunion after a two-year hiatus. Band members RM and V— whose given names are Kim Nam-joon and Kim Tae-hyung, respectively—were discharged on Tuesday after both served 18 months in the South Korean military, The Guardian reported.
