As of 1 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in several Arkansas counties until 9 p.m., including Pulaski, Faulkner, Saline, and Jefferson.
Much of Arkansas could see severe weather and flooding on Wednesday and more storms on Thursday, the National Weather Service said. Thomas Jones, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock, said Arkansans should plan for strong winds, large hail and a chance of tornadoes on Wednesday.
Another few rounds of strong to severe weather are expected in Arkansas as we head into the weekend, and all modes of severe weather are possible.

TRUMANN, Arkansas — A possible tornado was spotted by a traffic camera during live weather coverage Wednesday night. ABC 24 was in severe weather coverage just after 6:30 p.m. when meteorologists Trevor Birchett and Kit Thomas switched to a traffic camera in Trumann, Arkansas.
It's been a long week of severe weather with a major tornado outbreak Wednesday night bringing at least 2 EF3 tornadoes.

In fact, the New York Post reported that in northeastern Arkansas, a “wedge tornado” touched down, leaving nearly 40,000 citizens without power. The tornado fell into the EF-3 category, potentially strong, with multiple vortices swirling around its base.
