The NFL schedule for Week 17 of the 2025 season has been finalized, the league announced Wednesday. The NFL previously released a list of five possible contests for a Saturday doubleheader. The two games have now been set, and it will begin with the Houston Texans visiting the Los Angeles Chargers at 4:30pm ET on the NFL Network.
Earlier this week, the NFL announced a change to the ‘Sunday Night Football” slot for Week 16. The Baltimore Ravens will host the New England Patriots in prime time, with the Cincinnati Bengals-Miami Dolphins game in South Beach being moved to 1:00 p.m. EST.
Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy is back from the ankle injury that has sidelined him for most of this season, and he's looking good in Detroit. McCarthy has thrown two touchdown passes as the Vikings took a 17-14 lead over the Lions at halftime.
The Minnesota Vikings are ready to simplify their offense in hopes of kickstarting some production this Sunday against the Washington Commanders.
Arguably the best matchup on Sunday's Week 15 NFL slate comes in the late afternoon window when the Detroit Lions head out west to face the Los Angeles Rams, bringing Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford face to face with their old franchises.
