(Bloomberg) -- Taiwan started anti-dumping probes into beer and certain steel products from China, adding to a string of measures targeting Chinese exports by trade partners around the world.

Taiwan has launched anti-dumping probes into Chinese beer and some steel products following complaints of unfair competition, the finance ministry said Tuesday.

Taiwan said Friday it will slap anti-dumping duties on Chinese-made beer and hot-rolled steel for four months from July 3, claiming "substantial damage" to its industry.
