Sonic the Hedgehog is racing back to theaters, and one of Ben Schwartz's old "Parks and Recreation" buddies will be along for the ride.

Ben Kingsley and Nick Offerman are joining the Sonic universe. The pair are among the new voice cast members for “Sonic the Hedgehog 4,” the latest adventure for the anthropomorphic speedster, led by Ben Schwartz.

The confirmed story for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has not been revealed yet, and hence, the one clue we know comes from the finale of the 3rd film that teased us with Amy Rose and Metal Sonic. This means that the 4th film will most likely pick up from there with Amy joining the team and Metal Sonice being a big threat.

They called the first Sonic the Hedgehogsequel Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The next was Sonic the Hedgehog 3. And you’re never going to believe this but the upcoming fourth film is called … Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

Paramount Pictures has announced the full cast of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, with several major stars now confirmed to return along with more than a few big additions to the stacked ensemble.

As the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog 4 movie ramps up production, we finally have official confirmation that Jim Carrey (among other stars) is returning to the franchise, and he'll be joined by other prolific Hollywood actors new to the series.

Decades later, these two hedgehogs are still deeply loved.
